Part 3 of 4

Chunli comes out of the shower and turns on the radio. She goes to her room and this is the part when she is attacked! He comes swooping down from the ceiling and Chunli was taken by surprise! She dodges off the bed and while pulling the sheets from under him, the assassin falls back. Chunli realises who her attacker was when he stood up again... "VEGA!" she screamed. The fight goes on for a couple of minnutes in the bedroom while outside, the phone keeps ringing as Guile tries to call. Chunli is kicked out of the bedroom and smashes against the phone.

Guile hears the screams and rushes to her apartment right away! Vega had the upper hand throughout the entire battle and managed to slash Chunli on her face. "My hobby is peeling the skin off rabbits I find... especially cute little bunnies like you... and my friend here is thirsty for blood..." Vega sneered as he licked her blood off his claws, "Sweet..." Chunli then gets so angry at Vega that she throws the entire sofa at him, knocking him off his feet. She attacks him with a barrage of kicks before jumping onto him smashing his face with her foot... she did a spinning motion with her feet on his face and Vega reeled back in pain...

...only to see that the skin on his face has be slightly scratched! "My face! My beautiful face is ruined! You bitch! I'll make you suffer!!!" He runs towards her and attacks her with amazing speed and power fueled by his anger! But Chunli was nevertheless also a skillful fighter! After taking blows without a chance to retaliated, Chunli finally found an opening! She gave him a spinning bird kick then a chop to the neck followed by two roundhouse kicks. Vega was pushed back and he fell onto the ground. Chunli tried to follow up on her attacks but the wounds she received were affecting her performance. She knelt down slightly but forced herself to move on and within a spilt of a second, she sped forward and showed Vega what was true street fighting! Chunli did her famed lightning kicks finally ending it by raising both her legs and kicking Vega thru the wall of her apartment! (BTW, remember that she stays in the penthouse way up at the top!) Vega then had a LONG LONG fall downwards... not shown of course.

ANGER!!! HATRED!!! ANGER!!! HATRED!!!

And guess who came in at the end of all the action? Yup, you're right, it was Guile alright! Don't the militray and police come late everytime in every show? Well, this ain't no exception! Guile kicked the door down only to see Chunli lying unconscious. Chunli passes out right after telling him it was Vega who attacked her. He sends her to the hospital immediately...

DEEP IN THOUGHT... DEEP IN THOUGHT...

Ken was with Eliza this day and he suddenly asked Eliza to marry him. She hesitated and Ken was very unhappy with that response she gave, saying it was too sudden. "Whatever!" he said indifferently and starts to speed. Ken recalls the time when Ryu and him were training. They were running across the mountains and had to jump across to another part of the mountain. Ryu did it well and when Ken tried, he slip and fell. Luckily, Ryu was alert and turned back to grab Ken's arm before he fell to his death. This incident brought the two fighters even closer.

The music being played at this point of the anime was really very well suited and I myself was kinda moved by it. Suddenly, Eliza shouts out "KEN!" and this brought him back to the real world... a truck was heading his way! Luckily he was able to avoid it in the nick of time. "What's wrong?" Eliza askes Ken. A monosyllabic nothing was the answer she got. "Maybe I should've said yes." came the sarcastic remark... but Ken couldn't care less now. All he wants to do is to challenge Ryu.

"Hey we made it!" Eliza said and Ken smiled at the remark. They had arrived at Eliza's place and Ken had dropped her off. She goes on to tell him that she'll consider his offer of marriage. This comes as a surprise to Ken as he thought she didn't want to marry him. He drove off after wishing her 'goodnight and sweet dreams'. Ken suddenly thought about challenging Ryu again... "Ryu! I'm getting tired of waiting!" Right at this moment, Ken realises that an aircraft is following just behind him. It turns out to be Bison's plane and he was here to capture Ken. Ken was leviated off his car and then made to face Bison. After much futile resistance, Ken tries to hit Bison with a fireball but it simply reflected off him and came back right at Ken! After getting hit by his own fireball, Ken was brought back to Bison's base. Where he was subjected to mind control with only one mission: Defeat Ryu!

Back at the Thailand Laos border, Ryu is seen training again. This time, he was climbing the face of the mountain with his bare hands and feet. As he scaled the seemingly endless mountain wall, Ryu subconsciously thought about the time when he was injured by Ken during a training sparring session. Ryu was kicked by Ken and tumbled down a flight of long stairs. Suffering a cut along his forehead, Ryu tried to hide it from Ken but without success. Ken then 'bandaged' the cut with the red band that he normally used to tie his hair. Not wanting to waste anytime, the young Ryu said "Come on Ken! Let's continue!" At this point in time, we can see that Ryu is longing to meet up with his long time pal too.

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT RYU?" "ARE YOU ALRIGHT RYU?"
